The iPhone and Instagram have really helped me rethink and rediscover photography again. The simple joy of playing with composition, the format, the Hipstamatic app with lenses and film choices allows me to explore the world visually again without worrying about equipment. The old saw that the best camera that you have is the one you have with you is really true. The limitations of the iPhone and the apps also force me to think again as well as simply having fun making images. In some ways, this area is my visual journal. These images are from on the job, at play, traveling and hanging out with friends. To my visual colleagues, these images tell stories or convey what mood I am in. I hope you enjoy them.
